My name is Romane, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specialized in finance roles. I am currently looking for a Financial Controller for one of my clients in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position based on the South Shore of Montreal.
Supervise and support the daily work of the accounting team
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards
Conduct financial analyses (costing, inventory, margins, variances, profitability)
Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts
Manage cash flow and ensure proper end-of-period entries
Coordinate annual audits
Contribute to the optimization of accounting processes, including through automation tools
Develop performance indicators and dashboards
Perform any other related tasks
Requirements
University degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME
Member of the CPA Order
Experience in team management
Knowledge of the manufacturing sector (an asset)
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
Expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow
Knowledge of an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics is an asset)
