I am currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary position located near Viau metro station, with two days per week in the office.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
Processing invoices: coding, verification, data entry, and matching with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Securing required approvals and ensuring compliance with Canadian and U.S. sales tax regulations.
Resolving payment issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Reconciling supplier statements and following up on discounts and credits.
Responding to supplier inquiries and working closely with the procurement team.
Monitoring outstanding receiving reports that exceed normal delays.
Handling incoming calls, emails, and requests related to accounts payable.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier files.
Performing various administrative tasks related to the position.
Desired Profile:
Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written (for communication outside Quebec).
Solid knowledge of Canadian and U.S. sales tax regulations.
Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 is an asset.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and act with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work under pressure, independently, and proactively.
High attention to detail, with professionalism and a strong sense of accuracy.
Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and a client service mindset.
Strong team spirit and collaborative approach.
