PSW – Personal Support Worker

Home and Community Care

$18.50- $19/hr plus Group Benefits

Immediate Full-time, Part-time, Casual openings

Oakville, Milton, Halton Hills, ON

Qualifications:

  • A Personal Support Worker or Equivalent Certificate from a recognized institution from a province in Canada; or
  • A Development Support Worker with a valid Certificate; or
  • A Home Support Worker with base certification, or level 11, or level 111; or
  • Are a Health Care Aid; or
  • Are a Personal Attendance Aid; or
  • Are a Nursing Student; or Rehab Student or Para Medical Student post first year; or
  • Are an Internationally Trained Nurse , Physician or Midwife

Your role will require:

  • A strong focus on client safety and ethical standards;
  • Developing respectful working relationships with clients and families to meet their care needs with the ability to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Respectful of the dignity and individuality of each client
  • Providing personal care to meet the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of each client
  • Observing , assessing, and reporting changes in clients’ behaviors and activities
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team work
  • Physical lifting abilities

As a Personal Support Worker, you will help support our clients’ ability to remain safe within their home and within their community setting.
