CASCADES TISSUE GROUP

The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.

Your challenge!

We are currently looking for an Accounting Technician for the Cascades Groupe Tissu headquarters in Candiac. Under the supervision of the financial analyst, the person will be called upon to carry out various mandates in order to grow the company towards the goals set.

Job Responsibilities

 

-Responsible for the application of transactions in the SAP System;

-Analyze and process customer deductions related to customer contracts;
-Participate in the implementation and documentation of accounting processes.

 

Operational Excellence

Adjust his/her activities based on needs and internal or external changes

Make sure the data entered in the system are complete and accurate

Organize all accounting cycle activities to maximize efficiency

Process financial information thoroughly and in a timely manner

Education

Certificate en Finance ou Other relevant fields

Desired experience

 

-2 to 3 years of relevant experience;

-Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written;
-Good knowledge of Excel software;
-Good knowledge of the MS Office 365 suite;
-SAP knowledge (asset);
-Good priority management;
-Attention to detail, organization and rigour;
-Demonstrate an excellent sense of autonomy and a high speed of execution;
-Be dynamic, show initiative and resourcefulness;
-Excellent ability to manage several projects at the same time.
