A&G The Road Cleaners is now hiring for a mixed roll position to provide assistance and support for all Health and Safety, COR certification, and Human Resources policies.


. ‪Extensive knowledge of OHSA and regulations

. ‪Experience with WSIB claims

. ‪Strong ability to develop and implement COR auditing policies and procedures

. ‪Extensive experience with auditing and report writing, accident investigations, developing and implementing policies and programs, delivering training, managing worker's compensation claims.

. ‪Excellent hazard identification and communication skills

. ‪Willing to contribute ideas and new strategies for the improvement and growth of the company

. ‪Develop and implement policies and procedures for client's COR certification

. ‪Manage Workers’ Compensation claims, and modified work and return to work programs for SDS clients; ensuring timely completion of accident/injury reporting

. ‪Stay current with legislation changes and implement into corporate policies and procedures

. ‪Oversee site inspection reports for multiple clients

. ‪Conduct work site incident investigations and workplace hazard assessments and provide recommendations to reduce / eliminate hazards.

. ‪Liaise with MOL, clients and contractors

. ‪Conduct formal and informal site evaluations to ensure compliance with all EHS safety regulations, standards, expectations, laws and regulations.

. ‪Review all reported incidents and respond where necessary to ensure incidents are managed effectively and as required.

. ‪Develop client Safety Policies and Procedures

. ‪Develop, manage and deliver safety training programs with up-to-date legislations

. Assist the General Manager with providing advice to management and employees to ensure the fair and equitable application of Human Resources policies and procedures

. Assist in the creation, implementation and communication of all policies and procedures

. Assist with the Recruitment and Selection of hourly positions

. Organize and participate in new hire orientations

. Foster positive employee relations and effectively manage employee relations issues

. Participate in various Human Resources initiatives and projects in support of Company goals

. Support the annual performance management process

. Other duties as required by company needs
