We are still accepting Odyssey applications; apply quickly!
Hello bonjour!
If you haven't done so already, we urge you to apply to the Odyssey program! Even though the official deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications from everywhere in Canada! Interviews are beginning shortly, so apply quickly!
Odyssey recruits anglophone young canadian citizens (or permanent residents) all over Canada to work in Quebec or New Brunswick for nine months (September 2019 to May 2020), and francophones to work anywhere in Canada. Under the supervision of a teacher, you will use games and other activities on a daily basis to motivate students to learn more about English as a second language. You will have the opportunity to share your culture, drawing from your personal experiences, through art, music, stories, local expressions, and humour, and make a difference in the lives of young people. By the end, you’ll have helped young students to broaden their knowledge of Canada and develop a passion for language learning, all while having fun!
And by living in a French environment, you will learn the language and the culture. Many of our participants fell in love with their assigned region and never left!
Not only will you live the experience of a lifetime, but you will also gain approximately $20/hour, and a great experience to add to your resume!
To apply, you can follow this guide: https://www.myodyssey.ca/en/page/?application
