Position description:

Being an integral part of the procurement team, the buyer is responsible for the purchasing of goods to ensure an uninterrupted flow of parts, accessories and robotic items. He will also develop and manage supplier business relations in his division while transmitting relevant information to management

Tasks and responsibilities:

The buyer has a key role in the procurement team since he holds a negotiating power with suppliers, but also ensures the purchase negotiation with those above. More specifically, the buyer will have to:

  • Manages commercial relations with the suppliers while ensuring a profitable business relation;
  • Proceeds to the purchases of the required products while making sure to respect the necessary quantities to avoid the excesses of inventory and stock shortages;
  • Evaluates sales prices in order to maintain a competitive market position;
  • Assesses the purchase price to manage cost reduction opportunities;
  • Handles all the discrepancies and issues related to the transactions with the suppliers;
  • Participates in process improvements;
  • Applies the company policies and procedures to minimize risks, optimize the supply chain and reduce costs;
  • All related duties.

Requested skills

  • High School Diploma;
  • Any college level in procurement or university level related to the position will be considered as an asset.

  • Passionate for the procurement industry to build long-term relationship with suppliers.

Technical skills:

  • Ability to work on different projects simultaneously (multi -Task);
  • Excellent observation skills for numbers (profit margins, billing etc).



A minimum of :
  • Any experience in procurement in the E-commerce industry will be considered as an asset.


  •  Perfectly bilingual spoken and written french and english (international market).
