We are looking for a networking technician to provide technical assistance, rapidly correct the problems encountered, handle the networking needs of external and internal clients.

Job Description

  • Receive the calls and requests and solve the problems encountered in the shortest possible time;
  • Test, install and deploy problem remediations when required.
  • Plan, mount, install and maintain hardware, put tools in place for security, monitoring and backup;
  • Maintain updated documentation on IT infrastructures;
  • Seize business development opportunities, during calls or otherwise.

Required knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2012/2008, Windows 10/8/7 and peripherals;
  • Networking experience (TCP/IP, VPN)
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Office 365, Azure.
  • Asset: knowledge of cellular/hand-held computers - Android, iOS, MDM(Mobi Control)

Skills, education and experience

  • Autonomy, rigor, resourcefulness, good manners with people, acute sense of quality customer service and professional appearance;
  • Functional French (spoken and written);
  • Technical DEC, informatics, or AEC (certificate), or DEP (professional studies) computer support, or related diploma;
  • Basic experience in programming an asset;
  • At least 5 years experience in customer support or related experience with the clientele;
  • Valid driver’s license.
