We are currently looking for a chief accountant to complete and strengthen our finance department.

Responsibilities
The chief accountant works in collaboration with the vice-president of finance and administration and his mission is to:
Be responsible for periodic submissions such as GST and QST;
Prepare or review general ledger entries and account reconciliations;
Keep the general accounting system up to date;
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; participate in regulatory reports as required;
Find problems with compliance with accounting rules;
Coordinate the budget process; Assist in the preparation of files for end of fiscal year audits; Any other related task.

Requirements:
Experience with acomba, excel and the office suite;
Knowledge of the MIR system an asset;
At least 5 years of experience as a general accountant;
Excellent communication skills;
Great analytical capacity;
Strong technological skills; Practical knowledge of integrated management software (ERP) is an asset;
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
Master's degree in business administration or CPA designation an asset;
Abilities:
Have a positive attitude, be punctual, autonomous and efficient;
Be resourceful, hardworking, reliable and responsible;
Work with the goal of being an integral part of a team and its development;
Be organized and manage your time and priorities well;
