Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Manager - Procurement, the incumbent is responsible for:

  1. Placing orders for supplies and equipment.
  2. Responding to inquiries regarding products, order status, etc.
  3. Following up on orders as required.
  4. Maintaining the database of product/client/staff information.
  5. Performing other related duties as required.
  • Two years previous related data entry/clerical experience required.
  • Experience in a Supply Chain environment preferred.
  • Experience with Windows based computer software required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.


  • Keyboarding skills (45 wpm) required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to medical supplies preferred.

  • Must be able to work under moderate supervision showing organization, adaptability individual initiative and judgment.
