Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Scheduler to join the Home Support team in Vancouver, BC. Apply today to join our team! As a Scheduler with the Home Support team you will coordinate and schedule Community Health Workers (Home Support Workers) in accordance with established policies and procedures, client care plans and applicable collective agreements. Your role will also include outside of work on-call duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 with course work in health care, computer training and scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Proven proficient computer skills
  • Physical and mental ability to carry on the duties of the position
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with others
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
  • Ability to work under pressure.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
