Salary:  $42.57 - $53.22 per hour
Status: Temporary Full-time  6 months to 1 year

The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, a leader in adult rehabilitation and complex continuing care, is Canada’s largest adult rehabilitation hospital. Bringing together innovative patient care, groundbreaking research and diverse education to help people overcome or recover from disabling injury, illness or age-related conditions Toronto Rehab is located at four sites: University Centre (550 University Ave.), Lyndhurst Hospital and Toronto Rehab’s Cardiac and Stroke Centre (Rumsey Road) and the Bickle Centre (Dunn Ave).

As an integral member of Hospital based Executive teams, the responsibilities of the Project Manager are primarily: the planning, design, implementation, management and coordination of assigned projects for the CD portfolios. The major project areas covered in CD projects and services include support for specific project planning, strategic and program planning, as well as ad hoc data and information reporting.
The principle responsibilities of this position are: leading, planning and developing processes to achieve desired outcomes for all aspects of assigned projects, including defining / developing methodology to achieve results, supporting the development and implementation and monitoring of program strategic plans; developing MOHLTC/LHIN proposals as required; leading the implementation of key projects where appropriate; monitoring the external environment; supporting organizational decision support and ad hoc reporting; performing budgeting/financial management responsibilities as assigned; performing administrative responsibilities; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required

• Master’s degree in health or business administration or recognized equivalent
• Certification in Project Management preferred
• Four (4) years’ experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Effective presentation skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work with a diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand.
