Is your passion for platform engineering? That is, envisioning and building the core services that underpin all Thomson Reuters’ products? Then we want you on our team! This role is in the Technology - Product Engineering organization on the Data Engine team where we are focused on solving data problems for Thomson Reuters’ applications and customers. The Data Engine team develops a suite of products and services centered around data lake, ingestion and reference data capabilities. We are an API first team and work across AWS, Azure and GCP.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Software Engineer, you will:
Develop and Deliver: applying modern development practices, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing and delivering high quality solutions

Be an Agile Person: with strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, you will deliver solutions against strict timelines

Be an Effective Communicator: through active engagement and communication with cross-functional partners and team members, you will effectively articulate ideas and collaborate on technical developments
You’re a fit for the role of Software Engineer if you have:
2+ years experience building applications using one or more programming languages - Java, C#, or Python
Experience with REST APIs or complex queries
Experience building modular, reusable code and shared libraries
Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as code with different technical stacks (Docker, K8S, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitOps)
Bachelor's degree in related technology program preferred
