We are looking to add a Software Engineer to our Digital Experience Platform team. This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact on our new and expanding product lines while working with a smart team on large systems that are used worldwide. We are seeking a Software Engineer who can deliver high-quality work promptly, in a fast-paced environment while collaborating and brainstorming with others in a dynamic team environment.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Software Engineer, you will:
Develop and Deliver: take part in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions while using Object-oriented patterns and applying modern development practices
Be a Team Player: work in a collaborative team-oriented environment of 5-8 developers and testers, you will share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional teams
Be an Agile Person: with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, you will write clean, readable code that is easy to understand
Be Innovative: you are empowered to try new approaches and learn new technologies. You will contribute innovative ideas, create solutions, and be accountable for end-to-end deliveries
Be an Effective Communicator: through active engagement and communication with cross-functional partners and team members, you will effectively articulate ideas and collaborate on technical developments
Take ownership: work independently while planning, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
You’re a fit for the role of Software Engineer if you have:
2-4 years software development experience
Back-end software development experience using any one of these languages - Java, c#, or Python
Experience with Agile Methodologies, primarily Scrum
Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience
Experience maintaining and supporting production systems
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager development
Significant knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns
Experience managing code and changes in a team environment to include experience with source control utilities, such as Git
Customer-first approach to software development
Experience with XML processing and transformations (XPath, XSLT, etc.)
Cloud technology experience (e.g. AWS, Azure), or Docker
