About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Technology Product Management capable of building digital strategy, execution and analysis, to help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale our digital customer experiences. We want a leader with a passion to innovate, an entrepreneur who likes working backward from the customer and tackling complex ambiguous problems. This is a mission-critical role with substantial scope, complexity, executive visibility, and has a large opportunity for impact. In this role, you’ll work with a high-visibility, top-notch team of pros across multiple teams and disciplines to define, deliver, and streamline global standards.
As a Thomson Reuters’ MarTech leader you will drive strategy, execution and management of our go-to-marketing technology stack to help Thomson Reuters rapidly scale our digital customer experiences - being equally comfortable leading projects and both internal and external partnerships. You will directly contribute to the growth of our business by enabling operational rigor in the day-to-day functions of the marketing team. You will ensure that our technology systems work together seamlessly; our money is spent wisely and that we operate in a coordinated way in the market.
The is a highly visible role in a fast-paced agile environment with exposure to senior leadership both inside the company and industry.
Lead a team of product management professionals with expertise enabling digital customer journeys in marketing operations, digital marketing and ecommerce ecosystems.
Set the vision, motivate your team, and let them run and accomplish great things - with the ability to deep dive into the details when they need help.
Drive strategy and integration of a wide range of SaaS Marketing solutions driving high-quality customer experiences and exploring what is possible with evolving digital tools.
Deep knowledge of the customer lifecycle, marketing funnel and various demand generation strategies including inbound, outbound and account-based marketing
Run and support a strong prioritization process that creates clarity for stakeholders on what will happen, and what will not happen.
Remove roadblocks across organizational boundaries and with other senior leaders
Drive a culture that puts experimentation, measurement, and analysis at the center marketing operations.
Partner with various stakeholders to define, test, validate, and implement new features and ideas that delight the customer experience and make marketers efficient.
Serve as an internal champion for marketing technology initiatives. Help marketers and digital product managers adopt new tools and technology
Establish and maintain successful relationships with a complex set of cross-functional stakeholders across marketing segments peers and leadership.
5-7 years’ experience in marketing operations, digital marketing or management of marketing technology (e.g. CRM, marketing automation, content management).
Previous team leadership, mentorship and/or agile squad leadership experience
Prior experience running a marketing technology platforms with a track record of delivering business results
Ability to develop and grow the people on your team, helping them accomplish their career goals
Track record of recruiting, hiring, and retaining a diverse set of team members
Understand the unique skills, talents, and passions your team members bring to the table and help align work to leverage those unique skills, talents, and passions
Extensive experience delivering complex technology project and programs end-to-end - including roadmap, readiness, change management and risk mitigation
Experience running mission-critical large-scale operational systems in a highly complex environment
Proven experience managing marketing technology systems with a track record of delivering business results
Subject matter expertise with the latest marketing technology industry trends, best practices and scenarios.
Expert knowledge of the customer lifecycle, marketing funnel and various demand generation strategies including inbound, outbound and account-based marketing
Thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices, both theoretical and practical
Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate and evangelize a strategy at every level of the organization
This position can be based in one of the following locations: Minneapolis, Dallas, Ann Arbor or Toronto
