Our client is seeking a Senior Database Applications Analyst (10+ years) to manage SQL Server databases and CityView applications

Must Haves

• Minimum 10 years in SQL Server database administration including performance optimization, backups/restores, and security management
• Extensive experience with CityView applications in a municipal or public-sector context
• Proven ability to support database system upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting mapping or web-based municipal applications
• Knowledge of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes or technical specification documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IT projects involving database systems through planning, implementation, upgrades, and improvements
• Manage SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security
• Analyze business requirements and develop corresponding technical and business specifications
• Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate applications, mapping solutions, and custom systems
• Administer user access, security roles, and corporate data standards
• Create and maintain test environments for system updates and troubleshooting
