Our valued Public sector client is in need of an Intermediate Project Manager to define and document the objectives for the project

Our client has a requirement for the provision of IT Business, Innovation, Transformation, Project Management, Human resources, and Instructional/ Training resources in support of the functional development, maintenance and production support for legacy systems as well as any new systems that may come under development, and related work.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
  1. Performing project management duties for one or more concurrent projects;
  2. Developing and delivering presentations to senior management;
  3. Managing several Team Leads, each responsible for an element of the project and its associated project team;
  4. Managing projects during the development, implementation and operations startup by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters;
  5. Ensuring that project team members adhere to specified methodologies, standards and guidelines to produce consistent quality products;
  6. Formulating statements of problems; establishing procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtaining approval thereof;
  7. Defining and documenting the objectives for the project;
  8. Determining budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team;
  9. Reporting progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle;
  10. Meeting in conference with stakeholders and other project managers and states problems in a form capable of being solved;
  11. Preparing plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems;
  12. Working with a variety of project management tools;
  13. Being responsible for project sign-off;
