Hardware Asset Management Specialist - 81728
6-month contract (possible extension)
Hybrid - 2 days a week in Scarborough (Wednesday's mandatory)
Working hours: 8 hours a day
Our banking client is seeking a Technical Support Analyst. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in managing technology hardware assets within an enterprise environment.
Role & Responsibilities
• Manage IT hardware at the bank within book of record
• Work on tickets - resolving data quality issues
Must haves:
• 1-2 years proven experience in technology hardware asset management
• Extensive hands-on experience using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM/ticketing platform
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills
• Problem solving and data ownership mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, or similar SQL tools for data analysis
Nice To Haves:
• Knowledge of CMDB (Configure Management Data Base) is an asset
• Knowledge of Discovery Tools is an asset (SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery, etc.)
• HAM Pro Certification is an asset
• IAITAM Certification is an asset
• Previous banking
Education:
• Post Secondary Degree
Interviews:
• 1st round with HM - preferred onsite but virtual is good - 45 minutes
