You will be working with a team of more than 50 experienced specialists and system administrators, with whom you will grow your expertise!
The Challenge: System Administrator, IT Projects
Member of the sysadmin team in the Operations division of our Sherbrooke or Longueuil offices and reporting to the Manager, IT projects and continuous improvements, the systems administrator, IT Projects is responsible for the implementation of new services, which includes research on software and hardware products and technologies.
Perform analysis and define the requirements and needs of new services
Participate in developing proofs of concept for new services
Participate in the deployment of hosted applications
Participate in the production of procedures and documentation
Collaborate with the infrastructure team on implantation or improvement projects
Participate in major migration projects
Occasionally participate in advanced support and problem solving
You have a background that is similar to this:
College degree in computer science or a combination of similar training and experience
5 to 8 years of experience in Microsoft systems administration
Project management experience is an asset
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
Availability for rotation on the call schedule in a 24-7 environment
Knowledge of one or more of these technologies is an asset:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013/2016
Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013
Microsoft Lync 2010/2013
Microsoft SQL server
