PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
SAP North America Regional COE is responsible for demand generation and sales support to revenues for both the SAP Business Technology Platform and the SAP Platform & Technology solutions for organizations in North America. These solutions cover both technical and business solutions resulting in alignment with senior leadership as well as line of business and technical architects.
We are looking for an experienced senior level employee with executive level experience to engage with our customers’ senior executives and technical leaders whereby you will articulate the business value of the SAP Business Technology Platform, with specific focus on the SAP Cloud Platform integration and extension services.
SAP BTP provides the foundation for the ERP and data applications while also enabling the integration and development environment to support heterogenous landscapes.
Secondly, the employee is responsible for presenting the business value of the SAP BTP stack:
- SAP Cloud Platform
- Data and Data Management

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
-Engage directly with senior executives within SAP Strategic customer program, Key and large enterprise accounts to drive sales of SAP’s BTP solutions, both on-premise & cloud deployments
-Drive ''lighthouse'' transformation engagements with select customers to showcase SAP BTP
-Engage with key ecosystem partners (Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC etc.) to educate their consultants on SAP BTP capabilities and engage them into marketing campaigns and sales cycles
-Drive in-region market awareness of SAP BTP capabilities to support all lines of businesses including activities such as presentations at events, engagement with partners, thought leadership activities (e.g. blogs, white papers etc.)
-Support ad-hoc sales opportunities that require senior executive engagement to support the sales cycle
-Become part of a global network of COEs, building and sharing knowledge on successful demand generation, customer success stories and potential product and market evolutions
-Work in conjunction with regional / MU sales organizations, as well as partners, solution management, value engineering, consulting, services and support to support lighthouse customer success cases
-Present SAP BTP solution capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators at senior executive levels and large audiences
-Internal enablement to support the sales teams understanding of how SAP BTP solutions become the critical foundation for the SAP ecosystem while supporting an open enterprise
-Work with regional VAT to maintain a rolling 4Q, 4x pipeline
Work Experience, Skills & Competencies:
-Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in SAP BTP, specifically SAP Cloud Platform integration and extension services.
-10+ years of prior relevant solutions experience in presales or consulting or working directly at a customer and supporting SAP environments, especially with solving complex integration and platform system requirements
-Viewed as solutions expert across SAP and / or partner communities and capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth
-Understanding of different deployment methodologies including on-premise and specific focus on cloud
-Proven track record of success
-Strong customer facing experience at executive levels
-Strong presentation skills
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
-MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred
-Fluency in English, any other language an asset
