We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our St. Marguerite school team to support a grade seven student on a full-time basis collaboratively. Your primary responsibilities will be to assist with a grade 7 student's medical needs, supporting student learning, personal care, complex medical needs, and g-tube feeding.
Responsibilities could include:
Monitor health status, promptly reporting any concerning changes.
Administer medications and treatments as directed, including personal care and G-Tube feeding.
Collaborate with all partners.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student, addressing any environmental hazards or factors that may impede their well-being.
Maintain accurate and updated documentation of care provided.
Provide educational support as required.
Qualifications: Valid and active LPN license for Alberta
Job Type: Full-time hourly
Schedule: Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate: Red Deer, AB T4R 1V5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Language: English (required)
Licence/Certification: LPN (required)
Work Location: In person
