TORONTO PUBLIC SECTOR CLIENT REQUIRES A SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER FOR A 12 MONTH CONTRACT, WITH THE CLIENT RESERVING THE RIGHT TO RENEW THE CONTRACT FOR AN ADDITIONAL TWO, ONE-YEAR PERIODS IF REQUIRED.
 
MANDATORY:

•10+ years in the role of PM managing end to end projects and initiatives.

•5+ years managing IT Infrastructure projects.

•Solid experience with Risk, Change Control, Financial, and Vendor/Contract Management

•Ability to conduct oneself in an extremely confident, effective and professional manner

•Working Knowledge of Project Management tools and methodology

•Experience working with a Program Management Office (PMO) with multiple methodologies.

•Proven history of driving multiple, successful projects of varying scope simultaneously and managing budgets, schedules, resources, and timelines surrounding multi-million dollar projects.

•An overall understanding of large IT infrastructure and operating environments, including but not limited to: Networks, Data Centers, Storage, and Operational Monitoring Tools and Technologies.

•Expert knowledge of SDLC

•Advanced skills using project management tools.

•Working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL guidelines and processes

•Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (project management, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Mandatory
•PMP or Certificate in Project Management.

•Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering or related)

•A track record of delivering dynamic projects on time and on budget while maintaining effective client and team relationships.

•Experience with and knowledge of the processes and procedures of large Municipal Departments.

•Team player with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

•Can work under the pressure of deadlines.

•Ability to facilitate prioritized, streamlined and customer sensitive change management process.

•Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills to aid in the identification of root cause issues and develop creative solutions.

•Experience with portfolio management tool: Planview
