Are you a Production Supervisor with strong leadership in the unionized environment? Join the Collingwood Team at one of the leading Automotive manufacturing company.

As a Production Supervisor, the incumbent would be responsible to ensure that production requirements and assignments are met, help prioritize work schedules, ensure that appropriate production breakdowns are dealt with. This position is a 12-hour rotating continental shift, days, and nights.

What you will be doing:
- Accountable for the health and safety of employees and ensure compliance with all established Health & Safety rules/regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Accountable for manufacturing metrics for their shift.
- Manage shop floor performance
- Conduct required audits as necessary - SOP, safety, 5S, Process etc…
- Conduct regular employee communication meetings on shift.
- Track training for all hourly employees on shift
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process and quality system.
- Ensure production flow of processes by reducing/eliminating bottlenecks on a shift by shift basis.

- Post Secondary education - Mechanical Engineering Technologist would be an asset
- 5 plus years experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Automotive experience is an asset
- Previous shift work experience is an asset
- Microsoft Office - excel, word, powerpoint
- Strong communication skills - written and spoken
