Payroll Administrator in Oakville

Do you have experience with Payroll and would like the opportunity to work within a large retail company? Do you excel at tasks that require attention to detail and enjoy working with a fun team?

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for a large Canadian retail company within the Oakville area. This position would involve data entry for employees time, processing employees leaves, and generating ROEs forms. This position would be work-from-home at this time, but has the ability to work within the Oakville office. This is a full time position that is contract for 3-6 months with possibility of being extended.

The ideal candidate will 1-3 years have experience working within a payroll team and have experience with processing payroll for hourly and salary employees. The successful candidate will be working with a fun, team oriented group of payroll professionals. It is an excellent opportunity to learn, develop, and grow with a large payroll team.

Job Duties
- Process bi- weekly payroll time entries accurately and efficiently into payroll software
- Ability to track and process time and labour, vacation pay, corrections, retro pay, bonuses, mat leave and severance pay
- Review, analyze, and verify payroll reports and documents
- Interacting over phone and email with internal employees related to payroll: investigations, adjustments, and inquires
- Support internal teams in regards to payroll processes and policies
- Dealing with confidential information

Qualifications

- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Experience working with VIP or Oracle (PeopleSoft or Workday) is an asset
- PCP designation is an asset

- Must be able to work on a team and collaborate efficiently
