Do you have previous programming experience (VBA, Python), SWIFT experience and are eager to gain experience within a top 5 bank? Do you have strong Excel skills and a keen attention to detail? If so we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Service Officer for a 6-month assignment in a Top 5 bank in Toronto! There is potential for extension.
Pay rate: $21.00/ hour
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 to 5pm(contractors may be required to work Canadian holidays)

As an Operations Officer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide operational support for the business including trade confirmations, and settlements investigations.
- The incumbent will collaborate daily with cross functional team and Global partners and clients in Toronto, New York, Singapore and London to deliver control functions and mitigate risk to provide a seamless client service experience
- Work in a team that specializes in all aspects of risk management in the precious metal (gold, silver, platinum and palladium) and base metal (aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, tin, and zinc) markets.

Qualifications
- 2 years operations experience (preferably within metals transactions)
- Strong knowledge and experience with SWIFT standards and reconciliations
- 2 years advanced MS excel
- Experience with software development (python, VBA, JAVA)- huge nice to have
