Description

Position: Inside Sales Representative

DESCRIPTION

Poka is seeking an inside sales representative to join our demand generation team. Reporting into the VP Sales, you will be the critical first point of contact for our potential clients and will be responsible for building and nurturing the top of the sales funnel working together with our referral partners.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In the course of his employment, the candidate will be required to:

  • Develop MQL into sales qualified leads (SQLs) within assigned territory, industries through discovery calls, demos and follow up call following Poka best practices and qualification matrix
  • Proactively reach out to and secure meetings with a target list of identified prospects and MQLs
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries and inbound leads.
  • Work towards a quota of calls and demos per week to sustain level of activity necessary to drive the expected business outcomes in terms of SQL generation,
  • Understand business priorities of prospects, and fit with Poka offerings to drive effective conversation and faster qualification and opportunity development
  • Qualify early stage opportunities and capture details and all related activities and tasks in CRM (SalesForce)
  • Compel a sense of urgency in client to prioritize moving forward by identifying at which buying stage the buyer is in and assessing the engagement level
  • Demonstrate Poka via web conference and answer preliminary product and implementation question
  • Schedule and participate in hand-off meetings with Account Executives ensuring a seamless experience and maximum efficiency
  • Nurture early-stage, ‘book of business’ leads, scheduling tasks for future follow up
  • Maintain cleanliness and up to date status of lead queue (lead status, activities, tasks, call notes)

SKILLS

  • Excellent spoken and written English, French speaking is a plus.
  • Clear communicator and excellent listening skills. Consultative selling skills is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity targets
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • A competitive team player
  • Experience using Salesforce, Mac OS X and iOS, ZoomInfo (Extra)
  • Knowledge of the Manufacturing industry (a plus)
  • Experience with SaaS (Extra)
  • Experience or certification in Customer-centric and/or SPIN selling (Extra)

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in a B2B (ideally software) environment, inside sales or SDR experience will be highly valued
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Technology or related field
