Senior Manager, Brand and Content
The opportunityThe Senior Manager, Brand and Content is responsible for bringing OTPP’s new brand strategy to life, across internal (intranet) and external digital channels (onsite and social) for OTPP.
You will lead all aspects of the implementation of both the internal and external brand launch through digital channels in partnership with Investments, Corp Communications and P&C. Additionally, you will support the development of regionalized content strategies across paid, owned and earned media, that are optimized for search (SEO and SEM) and drive personalization across OTPP’s three target audience groups. The role will also provide content governance across all digital channels to support OTPP business objectives and brand.
Who you'll work withYou will collaborate with senior and executive partners across the organization to implement digital content strategies across owned, and social channels that are aligned to the Brand Strategy and Global Mindset.
What you'll doLead end to end fulfillment of branded content strategies with the Communications leadership. Drive search landscapes to advise content across the Investments and P&C business units, optimize for search and discoverability with a global and regional scale.
Support external brand launch strategy with corporate communications team and develop an OTPP standardized brand measurement framework
Define the future vision and strategy for OTPP’s approach to content across P/O/E as we move to an always-on focus.
Develop content playbooks that address standard methodologies for content development and deployment across P/O/E, including the evolution of always on content strategies and personalization. Playbooks will continually iterate based on feedback results from digital agency partners and corporate communications teams.
Lead and maintain always-on seamless, omni-channel experiences.
Support and define sets of digital key performance indicators for the communications team and run dashboards reflecting progress toward each critical metric.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Communications, lead SEO and SEM, continually improving website performance
Define overall social media strategy and channel strategy including reporting dashboards across channels.
Lead all aspects of the creation of social listening dashboards and socialization.
Lead team of digital specialists, over time, that will drive standard methodologies in digital channel capabilities, such as SEO/SEM, content strategies and social listening.
Establish strong working relationships with business partners including Investments, Corporate Communications and IT in order to provide thought leadership and gain consensus amount colleagues, partners and executives.
Participate in operating model assessment and agency model approach and provide advice on overall digital budget for the marketing and communications department.
You will have autonomous decision making in relation to development of the content strategy recommendations and will have to partner with Communications teams to execute the strategies.
Oversight of team around digital strategies and guide external agencies and consultants in the execution of strategies and project results.
What you'll need
Degree in Marketing, and or Communications
Experience in Brand strategy and Content strategy development as well as Web personalization strategies
SEO, SEM, responsive Web Design and Mobile-first Design, understanding of UI and UX methodologies, A/B, multivariate and usability testing, Social media listening and monitoring tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sysomos) and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google analytics, Adobe analytics)
Evaluation and use of Web content management, social media, marketing automation, digital media and search engine optimization platforms
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical user designs and interactions to partners and project team members
Excellent communication capability in both verbal and written English
Ability to conduct presentations and facilitate meetings as the need arises
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum 7+ years of brand strategy, digital marketing, digital media & analytics and development with at least 3+ years of leading digital teams
Experience within the financial industry
Experience leading outside resources and agencies
