Technician - Geotechnical engineering

We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Technician to join our team in Montreal.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Conducting geotechnical tests on site: shear strength, dilatometer, CPT, etc.
• Ensuring precision in the preparation of site work.
• Drafting site reports related to the conducted tests.
• Writing preliminary reports.
• Participating in material control work.
• Having a keen eye for process improvement to consistently deliver high-quality service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your strengths:

• College studies in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a field role.
• ASP Construction card.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license for client visits and travel to various business locations.
• Good physical fitness.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Team spirit and transparency.
• Rigor, structure, and high autonomy.
• Attention to health and safety.
