Reporting to the financing manager, the account manager – financial analyst contributes to the success of the sales team with his expertise in financing, advisory relationship and financial analysis. He will be in charge of presenting the advantages of available financing programs to clients with an analytical approach. He will be able to understand financial statements in order to choose the most appropriate lender. The candidate is proactive by identifying business opportunities and initiating meetings with current and potential customers. He will also be responsible for analyzing the profitability of transactions and commission calculation while ensuring the continuous improvement of his department.

Main responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on the various aspects of financing;
  • Accompany sales representatives during transactions;
  • Influence with an accounting and mathematical approach;
  • Target strategic customers both existing and potential;
  • Establish trusting relationships with the various lenders;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Train representatives to improve their understanding of financing;
  • Analyze the profitability of transactions and sales commission calculation;
  • To be at the forefront in foreclosures (syndics, lenders, auctions);

Qualifications and required skills:

  • University degree in Business management, Finance or Accounting (CPA designation is an asset);
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financing;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Motivated by performance-based compensation and results-oriented;
  • Analytical skills and business sense;
  • Ability to analyze financial statements;
