Analyst, Investment Platform Management (Canada Retirement)

Join our Canada Retirement Investment Platform Management team, where you will play a crucial role in managing our investment platform and addressing the investment needs of our clients and market sources. Your contributions will be integral to our success and the positive experiences of our clients.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain essential client and business unit investment materials, including performance reports, fund factsheets, portfolio holdings, investment analytics, and ad-hoc reports.

  • Manage the large transaction process, collaborating with asset managers and operations teams to minimize risks and meet client objectives. Investigate and escalate issues as needed.

  • Analyze and resolve investment-related inquiries from key stakeholders, including Client Relations, Sales, Investment Directors, and market sources like Consultants and Advisors.

  • Act as a key contributor of fulfilling content quality requirements by undertaking quality-control process.

  • Support key client initiatives through data gathering, organization and research.

  • Collaborate with business partners to create investment product analytics materials to that aid plan sponsors, consultants, and advisors.

  • Coordinate with asset managers and Global Manager Research team for periodic updates and commentaries.

  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure data integrity and continuously enhance content.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce risks and boost operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in investment or related field

  • 1-4 years working experience in financial services. Investment or pension industry preferred.

  • Strong interest and knowledge in investment products and financial markets

  • Pursuing relevant financial professional designations (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CIM, CSC) is an asset

  • Strong technical PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with databases is an asset but not required

  • Knowledge of investment analytics tools (e.g. Morningstar, Refinitiv, etc.) is advantageous but not required

  • Eagerness to learn and improve continuously

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and deliverables effectively

  • Responsive and proactive work ethic

  • Strong communication skills and proven success in team collaboration

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and VBA is beneficial but not mandatory

Salary range is expected to be between

$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD
