Return to Work Kinesiologist - Calgary, AB 

Lifemark Sunridge is seeking an experienced Kinesiologist. Opened in 2000, Lifemark Sunridge is a rehabilitation facility serving clientele throughout the city of Calgary and beyond. Our clinic offers a diverse range of occupational health, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation services to meet both patient and customer needs. 

In this role your duties may include:

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
• Assessment Services - perform basic functional capacity evaluations and return to work planning meetings alongside required reporting

  Qualifications:

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• 2+ years of clinical experience is considered a strong asset
• Experienced in functional testing is considered an asset
• Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA)
