Description

Liberty Staffing on behalf of a company is looking for a Purchasing/Production Assistant  to aid in the Materials Department of a London Company.


Job Responsibilities:

- Assists the buyer as needed on a day-to-day basis

- Perform administrative functions in regards to purchasing, part building and order entry

- Assist in the maintenance of the ERP database

- Receive internal requests for purchasing and analyzing them for completion and accurate information

- Discussing the discrepancies of orders with the buyers

- Able to assist with the parts building process

- Enter customer orders into ERP system

- Work with customer service representatives to identify and understand special parts of the order

- Preview orders to ensure all paperwork is attached

- File completed documents

- Any additional tasks assigned

- Read, analyze and interpret processing sheets and work instructions

- Write reports, procedures and instructions


Job Requirements:

- College Diploma or Equivalent required

- 2-3 years experience with ERP systems

- Knowledge of production process and the order of operations

- Knowledge of the parts building process and "parts builder"

- Advanced MS Office and Outlook skills required

- Advanced Excel skills required

- Knowledge of screen printing industry is an asset

- Knowledge of blueprint reading is an asset
