YOU LOVE TO:
- Represent the company to existing and prospective customers in order to assess their needs and sell them the appropriate equipment/machinery;
- Regularly follow up with customers through phone calls or visits as a courtesy and relationship-building measure;
- Maintain customer and sales follow-up records as defined by the company;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer retention;
- Develop the territory assigned by the Sales Manager to increase the company’s market share and generate equipment/machinery sales with prospective customers;
- Conduct product and equipment demonstrations for customers;
- Continuously update your knowledge of the products, benefits, and features of all equipment/machinery sold by the company by participating in John Deere training activities;
- Stay informed about market trends that may affect current and future sales;
- Comply at all times with workplace health and safety standards and policies.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

A vocational diploma (DEP) in sales consulting or a related field.

Experience as a sales representative with a territory to develop.

A genuine passion for the agricultural, commercial, or industrial sector.

Functional English (an asset) to serve English-speaking clients.

Excellent communication skills, active listening, and a strong ability to understand client needs.

Persuasive, tenacious, autonomous, and detail-oriented, with a strong passion for customer service!
