Summary
Responsible for the proper functioning, maintaining and troubleshooting of fixed equipment; steam boilers, water system, cooling system, compressors, fire network etc., and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Responsabilities
- Perform tests and operate boilers, chillers and air compressors in the plant.
- Maintenance and operation of the water systems in the plant.
- Perform various general plumbing tasks and carry out their inspections.
- Visually inspect the ventilation systems and change filters, if necessary.
- Perform tests on the generators and the fire pump.
- Maintenance of the systems associated to the building (chilled water pumps, air compressors, etc.).
- Receive the alarms of the systems and take the appropriate actions.
- Other duties as required.

Requirements
- Having a High School Professional Degree DEP or AEC
- Possess a MMF-C4 operator of stationary machinery and a MMF-CB in refrigeration (both certification are mandatory)
- 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- Testing of mechanical synchronization.
- Analytical problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated initiative and innovation;
- Ability to complete documents according to the GMP standards;
- French (spoken and written), knowledge of English (an asset);
- Be available for on-call.
The hourly entry rate is 26.98$ and the full rate after the 4 month probation period has been completed is 27.98$ (rotation premium of 1, 36$).
