As a Java Programmer Analyst, you will take on functional analysis projects. You will develop and improve Jobillico’s applications within the specifications provided by the Chief Programmer.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Participate in the product’s continued improvement,
  • Analyse needs in the field of application development,
  • Establish specifications in order to design and develop applications,
  • Conduct tests and validations, deal with fixes and troubleshooting,
  • Ensure the efficiency of the various applications,
  • Put in place production control (acceptance tests, production launches),
  • Create and update documentation regarding new developments,
  • Contribute to a technology watch and share your knowledge with colleagues,
  • Prepare and give training.

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Java Programmer Analyst who will fit well in our team. Just like us, you must be a proactive person who likes to collaborate with others.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • College diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience,
  • 3-5 years of experience in programming.

Technical knowledge in the following areas:

  • Web environment and protocol http/1.0/1.1,
  • Java, C/C++ (asset), PL/SQL,
  • PHP, [removed] pure, jQuery, Bootstrap, Dojo (asset),
  • Framework (CodeIgniter, Servlet 3.0),
  • Algorithm analysis and code optimization,
  • Web application development,
  • MVC architecture or object-oriented programming,
  • XHTML, XML and CSS (asset),
  • Social media API (asset).

You must also:

  • Have excellent analytical skills and be able to solve problems, often under pressure,
  • Be available to provide support outside of regular work hours,
  • Be autonomous and versatile,
  • Have good communication skills,
  • Be bilingual, French/English (asset).
