Canada Games: Quebec City, 2027
The Canada Games is the country's largest multi-sport competition, bringing together over 3,500 high-caliber athletes and coaches in 22 sports from February 27 to March 14, 2027, in Quebec City. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

Your Role
History is made with the right people. The 2027 Canada Games are looking for a Coordinator, Ceremonies and Events who can be a protocol strategist, an architect of collective experiences, and a seasoned behind-the-scenes orchestrator all at once. Under the supervision of the Director, Communications and Events, you'll collaborate on planning and delivering key events for the Games. You'll be responsible for the logistical and operational coordination of ceremonies, official receptions, and public activities, while ensuring protocol compliance and quality of experience.
Your talent and energy will allow you to:
- Bring the most memorable events to life by participating in the planning and execution of all events, receptions, and ceremonies, such as:
- Opening and closing ceremonies;
- Public events leading up to and during the Games;
- Medal presentation ceremonies for all sports disciplines;
- Official receptions;
- Orchestrate event logistics by coordinating closely with volunteers, staff, suppliers, venues and production teams.
- Collaborate on various aspects of ceremonies with the producer to create unforgettable moments.
- Contribute to the festival magic by participating in cultural planning and programming as needed.
- Tackle unexpected challenges with creativity and energy as they arise along the way.
Keys to success
Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:
- College diploma in event management, recreation, project management, or any relevant field. University degree considered an asset.
- 3 years of experience in event coordination, official ceremony organization, or complex event project management.
- Experience collaborating with various partners, suppliers, government agencies, or protocol bodies.
- Knowledge of protocol practices (municipal, provincial, and federal) considered an asset;
- Criminal background check required.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
