Position Summary
Registered Nurse, Oncology position now available at Kelowna General Hospital. If you are certified in chemotherapy administration and have a passion for the provision of excellent nursing care for oncology patients and their families; we’d love you to join our awesome team!

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse - Oncology is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Registered Nurses are expected to demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge in addition to skills such as strong critical thinking, communication, advocacy and a commitment to high quality, safe patient centered care.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Completion of a recognized post-basic program in Oncology nursing and two years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Certification in administration of chemotherapeutic agents is required. Please upload a copy of your certificate along with your resume.
