Position Summary
We are seeking to build our Casual pool of Physiotherapists for the community of Oliver.

A new Physiotherapist will be orientated to the three Interior Health worksites of South Okanagan General Hospital, long term care facility McKinney Place and long term care/short stay convalescent facility Sunnybank Centre. Days of work will consist of Monday to Friday Days.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Casual employees receive 12.6% of their straight time pay, exclusive of all premiums, in lieu of scheduled vacations and statutory holidays. Upon completion of 180 hours, there is option of purchasing medical, dental and extended health benefit plans.

Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participate in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provide work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
