Hiring Manager : Christiane Chagnon

Workplace: St-Hyacinthe (2450 Girouard West) orMontreal (2020 Robert-Bourassa Blvd).

Perform analyses and provide support when needed by the users (employees, brokers and other IT teams) of both software and hardware components of the infrastructure, and act as a technical advisor.

Your mission:

  • Support the team with the transition to Microsoft office 365, all products including tenant management;
  • Following company policies, plan, install, configure and update software components to ensure optimal and standardized use of IT tools under general supervision.
  • Respond to requests for assistance with a problem management tool and change control procedures to ensure complete resolution of problems.
  • Maintain the components of the IT infrastructure. Troubleshoot, assess and resolve complex technical support issues by monitoring and testing IT components to reduce the impact on system accessibility or performance.
  • Offer technical advisor services: analyze the needs, work tools and sources of reference. Implement new processes and the tools necessary for the integrity and smooth running of technological activities.
  • Actively participate in making processes more efficient and automating daily tasks in order to be more agile and robust while limiting human errors in updating and upgrading the IT infrastructure.
  • Take tickets to resolve users’ technological issues related to the IT environment.
  • Prepare technical documentation, as required.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering or any combination of training and equivalent experience;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools and tenant management;
  • Good notions in scripting / automation;
  • Good knowledge of Windows, VMware, Linux, SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, Cisco ASA;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ATP Defender tools (an asset);
  • Experience with Active Directory (an asset).
