Branch Manager

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage with multiple locations across BC, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a front-line team delivering Personal Lines and Autoplan services. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Culture

  • Coach and support a blended team across Personal Lines and Autoplan
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team environment
  • Lead onboarding, hiring, and regular performance coaching
  • Reinforce open communication and shared success across the branch

Client Experience

  • Ensure 5-star client service across all interactions
  • Monitor renewals and follow-ups to drive retention and reduce rework
  • Support complex or escalated client situations professionally
  • Model proactive, client-focused service habits

Branch Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee scheduling, workflow, and daily branch operations
  • Ensure compliance with ICBC, insurer, and brokerage procedures
  • Track team metrics such as renewals, follow-ups, and lead activity
  • Manage a small book of personal lines business and back up auto
  • Partner with IT and Operations to maintain branch systems and tools

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a communication bridge between the branch and corporate teams
  • Provide insights to senior leaders to support alignment and service quality
  • Collaborate with People & Culture, Learning & Development, and other departments to address team readiness and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Level 2 General Insurance license required; CAIB or CIP considered an asset
  • Experience leading teams in an insurance or client-facing environment
  • Working knowledge of Personal Lines and ICBC workflows and standards
  • Proficient with Epic, Autolink, Policy Center, and insurer platforms
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and client-service skills
  • Successful candidates must pass background checks, including criminal record and credit check
