Description
The Product Manager will be responsible for the HumanWare Low Vision product line and defines its development strategy to ensure growth throughout the product lifecycle. He / She will ensure that products and marketing efforts support the overall strategy and goals of the company. The person will have the following responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the low vision product portfolio roadmap;
- Collect and prioritize market requirements;
- Write product requirements and user personas;
- Manage the low vision products life cycle;
- Participate in the activities related to the product launch processes, such as the creation of technical FAQs, demonstration scripts, product presentations and training of technical and sales staff;
- Participate in various market studies, characterize the market, define the products positioning and recommend the pricing strategy;
- Work closely with the R&D team;
- Collaborate with complementary companies or organizations, major customers and influencers;
- Define the acceptance criteria for user stories in order to allow the development team to assess the success of their implementation;
- Ensure that user stories are ready and prioritized for development team;
- Own and maintain the product backlog and the release plans;
- Participate in the definition of the development team's sprints;
- Validate the use cases written by the development team;
- Define the vision and functionalities of the product;
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
Requested skills
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related training;
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Bilingual (English and French);
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written;
- High knowledge of the Android operating system and its applications;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and of various web applications.
- Good knowledge of the JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Zoho and Sharepoint applications;
- Efficient planning, management and organization of multiple projects at one time;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize;
- Highly developed creativity and sense of innovation;
- Action oriented and proactive;
- Availability to travel abroad (20%);
- Experience in using or managing learn
