Job Description: Internal Reporting & Business Improvement Senior Specialists are responsible for performing various key funtions with the Finance Business Partnerships portfolio. - Provide a specialized service to both the Internal Reporting team and the FBP portfolio. Work closely with stakeholders to develop reports and analyses, administer systems, processes and data used within the SHA as it relates to the Internal Reporting process, FBP portfolio and SHA Leadership requirements. - Ensure availability of timely and accurate data and processes to maximize the utilization of technology - Implement leading practices to maximize the value of the available technical resources, increasing quality and accuracy of reporting - Lead Finance Benefit Realization - measurement, tracking and reporting for AIMS, Service Delivery, Multi Year Financial Planning and any other SHA approved priorities - Responsible for internal SHA reporting policy development and implementation - Responsible to develop business and technical processes to formulate new or modified reporting business work standards, and processes for SHA finance reporting functions - Leads process improvement, re-engineering methodologies, and best practice principles to design and implement process modernization and improvements

Experience

  • Education or Experience in Information Technology or Computer Sciences an asset
  • Experience in reporting tools and all aspects of analytics
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting role

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BScIT)
  • Accounting designation (CA, CPA)
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
