Job Description: Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience
- Preference given to candidates with Pediatric Clinical Nutrition experience
- Preference given to candidates with Clinical Dietitian experience
- Preference to those with experience with acute care patients in hospital setting
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
- Dietetic Internship certificate
Other Information
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
- HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians

- Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.
- This position will support LTC.
- Working Monday to Friday 0800-1630.
- Experience in nutrition support will be considered an asset.
- This position works weekends on a rotation basis.
- The caseload for this position will include adult acute care.
- Acute care adult and pediatric clinical nutrition experience is preferred.
