Job Title: Process and Cleaning Validation Specialist

We are currently seeking a candidate for the following position in the Product Development team of Group Parima:

The Process and Cleaning Validation Specialist will be performing all tasks related to validation of manufacturing processes, packaging and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all tasks (non-analytic) pertaining to cleaning validation activities such as:
    • Preliminary activities of cleaning verification
    • Writing protocols and reports
    • Maintain the cleaning matrix up to date
    • Training of operators on cleaning procedures
    • Swabbing of equipment surfaces
    • Coordination of samples testing with chemistry and microbiological laboratorie
  • Perform all tasks related to process validation according to the schedule defined in collaboration with the Project Managers:
    - Drafting of manufacturing process validation protocols and packaging validation protocols
    - Supervision and execution, in collaboration with the production team, of protocols
  • Participate in meetings related to ongoing product development projects and validation activities
  • Ensure updates on master batch records and procedures following validations
  • Ensure the compliance to GMPs requirement during validation activities
  • Initiate change controls, participate in resolution of deviation and initiate CAPA
  • Provide technical support in the accomplishment of different projects in the product development department
  • Any other tasks deemed relevant

  • Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry or other relevant scientific field) accredited by a Canadian organism
  • Minimum of (2) years experiences in validation and/or process in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Knowledge of Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) (Health Canada)
  • Strong knowledge of validation strategies
  • Ability to solve problems and technical writing skills
  • Skills for teamwork
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Sense of initiative, high level of concentration, analytical mind, good stress management
  • Good communication skills
  • Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Have the capacity to provide training and assist in employee’s training
  • Able to be flexible and adapting to manufacturing schedules
