Job Title: Manufacturing operator

We are currently seeking a candidate for the Production Department of Group Parima.

Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 15:15 p.m.

The Manufacturing Operator participates in the manufacturing of the products. Stages include weighing, formulation, transfer, cleaning, assembly and disassembly of equipment and administration of files. He takes part in activities related to research and development and also participates in the disinfection and sampling of purified water.


  • Respect at all times Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Responsible for the administration of manufacturing files (Manufacturing Sheet)
  • Responsible for product manufacturing stages, including weighing, formulation, transfers, up to the final rinsing of equipment
  • Documentation of manufacturing, cleaning and verification activities
  • Maintain clean manufacturing rooms and perform cleanings according to approved procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining the storage of raw materials in an orderly and safe manner at all times
  • Put into practice the training received
  • Perform the assembly and disassembly of manufacturing equipment
  • Participate in the review of manufacturing files for products in development
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of yields, manufacturing and cleaning methods by communicating observations and suggestions to the production supervisor
  • Actively participate in supporting activities related to research and development
  • Participate in periodic disinfection of the purified water system
  • Perform periodic sampling of the rinsing water from the manufacturing tanks
  • Support cleaning validation and process validation activities
  • Respect company policies and procedures
  • Observe health & safety instructions and report any situation that could compromise employee safety
  • Participate in packaging operations when required
  • All other pertinent tasks

Requested skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent completed
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience (weighing, formulation) in the pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic industry
  • Experience in the production of cream, ointment and liquid
  • Knowledge of Canadian Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) (Health Canada)
  • Ability to lift 20 kg regularly
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and organize work
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Bilingual (an asset)
