I'm looking for a financial controller for a construction company in Boisbriand.
Your duties will include :
-Participate in monthly and annual closings, audits and verification of expenses and credit cards.
-Perform account analyses to detect discrepancies or irregularities and propose corrective actions.
-Monitor costs related to projects, mechanics and inventory, producing useful reports for field teams.
-Ensure cost recharges to projects and propose improvements to optimize profitability.
-Contribute to the preparation of operational budgets and the implementation of reliable financial forecasts in liaison with stakeholders.
-Manage customer and supplier account teams, define performance targets and monitor their progress.
-Harmonize operational financial processes and ensure compliance with internal deadlines.
-Support teams by identifying their analytical needs and developing appropriate tools.
Your profile:
-University degree in accounting with 5 to 10 years' relevant experience.
-Excellent command of the full accounting cycle, including tax reporting (GST/QST) and accounts payable management.
-Advanced expertise in Excel and good command of Office suite tools.
-Solid knowledge of CCQ and RBQ regulatory requirements.
-Thoroughness, attention to detail and autonomy in the execution of tasks.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing priorities independently.
-Versatile and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
-Knowledge of Maestro and SAGE accounting software (an asset).
-CPA designation considered an advantage.
