I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent position.
- Monitor customer payments on a daily basis and resolve discrepancies or deductions.
- Manage the customer accounts email inbox and respond to internal and external requests.
- Process credit card payments and perform credit checks as needed.
- Release blocked orders and track pending payments.
- Participate in collection and monthly closing activities.
- Keep customer information up to date in internal systems.
- DEC in accounting or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Comfortable with customer portals, deduction management, and high transaction volumes.
- Excellent autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual in French/English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of an ERP (SAP, an asset).
