Reporting to the Chief Planner, the main functions of the Scheduler are to participate in the structuring of the schedule, its update and the various performance analyzes and progress coordination.

In addition, he will be responsible within the project planning cell for:
•Prepare, update and develop the schedule covering the works of the A25 site of the project, through the coordination with the various departments of the project;
• Produce alternative scenario analyses;
•Integration, coordination and monitoring of schedules of road works subcontractors;
•Support to production teams in monitoring and communicating progress;
•Preparation and coordination of 3-week schedules;
•Participate in the continuous improvement and maintenance of the quality of project schedules;
•Implement and maintain project control and coding structure;
•Coordinate information received from stakeholders on the current status of the project;
• Recommend performance indicators for relevant work;
• Explain deviations from performance indicators as well as the baseline plan and propose solutions;
•Participate in data analyzer to establish project performance in terms of schedule;
•Participate in activities to improve and develop reports and project monitoring tools;
•Participate in the closure and post-mortem of the project.

Requested skills

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 5 years of experience in project or works management (experience in a civil engineering project required); 
  • Or a DEC in civil engineering with 10 years of experience; 
  • Demonstrate organization, rigor and autonomy;
  • Communication, dynamism;
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • PMP certification (an asset)
  • Knowledge of road works, pavement and drainage
