The Supervisor, Construction Project Management is responsible to ensure capital projects (replacement, reinforcement, relocation, and growth) are developed, planned, coordinated, forecasted and constructed with a focus on safe installation, according to company standards, in a timely and cost effective manner that meets customer expectations.

What You Will Do
Departmental work planning, scheduling and adherence to C&M procedures, quality control, and effective resource application.
Responsible to work with internal partners (Engineering, Asset Management, Contract Sales, Central Drafting, etc) to safely plan and install projects on time and on budget.
Development and execution of financial and safe operating plans, including capital budget preparation and adherence for new, replacement and reinforcement plans in the geographic area.
Construction processes and consumer attachment satisfaction.
Maintenance of local municipal relationships relating to construction activity.
Selects, recruits, retains and provides leadership to non-union employees.
Manage day to day activities of employees to ensure capital projects are developed, planned, coordinated, forecasted and safely constructed.
Coaches/mentors/motivates employees’ behaviours and accountabilities in a manner consistent with our culture and values.
Actively participates and engages employees in community relations activities.
Participation in the duty standby rotation for the geographic area.
Who You Are
You will have the following education and experience:
Related university degree and a minimum of 7 years’ experience OR 9+ years of previous operations experience. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.
Strong leadership skills in interpersonal relationships and technical matters.
Strong communication skills with significant abilities to lead people, change, innovation, and deliver results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, project management, analytical, negotiation, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
In depth knowledge of processes and procedures for departments interacting with operations construction project management.
Previous supervisory experience is desired.
