We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr Analyst Performance Measurement to join our team!

This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and communication of performance reporting and results used for improving performance of various Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) functional areas. This role has a focus on coordinating the collection of information as well as developing tools for the collection, analysis, and communication of business performance results to support the business, drive improvement, and meet corporate objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Develop/identify and apply tools for the collection, analysis, summarization and communication of performance measures and results to various business units and leadership.

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated scorecards/performance dashboards used for improving performance of functional areas. Work with process teams to develop meaningful measures and develop queries for gathering and aggregating this information and provide analysis.

  • Provide in-depth and comprehensive analysis to support functional areas, including the development of tools to facilitate such analysis.

  • Tackle complex problems, taking broad perspectives to identify innovative solutions.

  • Build advanced reports/queries using company standard reporting and data extraction utilities e.g. Power BI (Excel/Query), SQL, SAP Business Object reports, etc.

  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal business clients for report delivery, adoption, and support.

  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of reports and data extracts delivered.

Who You Are

You will have the following:

  • University Degree required: Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering and 2+ years' experience working in performance measurement, reporting and/or analytics. An equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

  • Superb communication, issue/problem resolution, presentation and analytical skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships.

  • Proven experience with SQL, Excel, PowerBI, Business Objects/Webi.

  • Ability to prioritize own work in ways that are aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Ability to ask tough questions and push back professionally and creatively to ensure focus on work with business value, resulting in the success of the organization and its projects. Project Management experience is an asset.

  • Experience with Operations, Customer Care and/or Engineering and Asset Management is desired.

  • Broad understanding of Gas Distribution & Storage data and systems is an asset.
